ABOUT

A non-profit education and awareness based organization founded by court collections professionals for the purpose of promoting and supporting the interest of court collections and court collections professionals nationwide.

 

Members include individual court collections professionals, related professional organizations and groups, and corporate/commercial businesses invested in the effectiveness and success of the court collections field. 


With more than $1 trillion in revenues generated by local, state, and federal jurisdictions including court revenue there is without question the need to establish an organization designed specifically to recognize, support, and serve court collections throughout the nation.

 

A new organization that will provide a platform for enhancing the collection of revenue for court entities by promoting innovation, information, and education within its membership.   Members will have access to a variety of info.

Don McKinley
Co-Chief Executive Officer

Don McKinley is a national speaker, trainer, motivator, and author.  Don is an expert on national court collections and compliance, and establishing “in-house” collections programs in the State of Texas and in courts nationwide.  Don worked as the Court Operations Manager with the City of Austin Municipal Court and for Fort Worth Municipal Court. He has also worked in the private sector for as a collections manager, and for the State of Texas – Office of Court Administration assisting courts with establishing successful court collection programs and streamlining operations. Don has over 15 years of criminal court experience and over 20 years of experience with local and state government. He served as the Vice-President of Texas Court Clerk Association, Central Texas Chapter, and is a prior board member with the Governmental Collectors Association of Texas.  He served as faculty of Texas Municipal Courts Education Center, and  has assisted setting up court collections and compliance programs throughout the United States.

Jim Lehman
Co-Chief Executive Officer

Jim Lehman is a national speaker, trainer, motivator, and expert on court fine and fee collections, compliance, and enforcement.  Mr. Lehman is the former Collection Program Manager for the Texas Office of Court Administration (OCA) responsible for implementing the state’s court Collection Improvement Program and providing collections consultation for over 2,800 courts statewide.   Jim helped to develop and manage the Dallas County Criminal Courts Collection Department and has more than twenty-five years of private sector collections experience.  He has served as faculty on events sponsored by the National Center for State Courts (NCSC), the National Association for Court Management, the Texas Center for the Judiciary, and the Texas Municipal Courts Education Center.  Jim is a past recipient of the Justice Achievement Award from the NCSC and has been published in various publications nationwide and is among the nation’s leading experts in court collections, compliance, and fine and fee enforcement.
